Arts on the Arcade

Arts on the Arcade takes place in front of Boston City Hall. It is a series of stalls set up on Cambridge Street.



They sell everything from fruits and vegetables to breads and pastries.



The Danish Pastry House is a cafe outside of Boston that offers tasty treats! Danish, muffins, cinnamon rolls and more. Yum!

This program runs from July 7th to August 27th from 11am to 3pm.

A Selection of Teas

I was at the supermarket today, and I noticed the variety of teas. There is a lot! Even in ordinary supermarkets.



There are many herbal teas with all kinds of flavors: orange, raspberry, green tea, blueberry, lemon, chamomile, rose, mint...the list goes on. So many to try! I can't wait for the winter!

What does "pump it up" mean?
Look at the bottom of the picture if you can.

Pump it up means to increase the volume in something. It can be used in different situations.Pump up the music/Pump the music up means to increase the volume.

How is it used here? Well, the ad is for a flavored powder you can add to water, called Crystal Light. This new product is to help your metabolism, the rate your body uses food for energy. If you drink it, you can dance like her!

Louis' Boston

I took a walk on Newbury Street again, before it started raining. It looks like a nice home, doesn't it? It was built in 1863 and originally was a history museum. It has been a trendsetter in fashion for Boston for a such a long time. It has a salon, a restaurant, a music bar and men and women's fashion collections.

It will move to a new location in 2010, so you still have time to visit!

On the Cape

Cape Cod is one of the summer getaways in Massachusetts. I went there recently with my family just for fun. We went to Hyannis, the port town where the ferries for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket leave.

I saw this cute shop in town but didn't have time to go inside. I loved the color combination.




One of the stores I did get into had a whole line of clothing with a whale on it. I loved this whale!




The clothing has the whale as well, but not as cute.
