Another stroll, this time near Arlington Street towards Boston Common. I loved the contrast with the brick building and the gold leaves.

Newbury Street in Fall

I decided to go through Newbury Street on my way to meet a friend. It was a cloudy day, but not cold. I am really glad I took that route. The gold-colored leaves on the ground make Boston special this time of year.

Omni Parker Lobby

I took a peep into the Omni Parker House Hotel on Tremont Street the other day. Why is this hotel famous? It's where Boston Creme Pie was invented!!!!!!!!! Yum yum!

This is in the lobby. I love the simplicity of the table display. Such a nice autumn color...

Lobster Bisque

One of my favorite soups!

What is a bisque? It is a creamy soup made with a bit of sherry, herbs and puréed lobster. Served in a sourdough bread bowl, it was impossible to resist!

I ate everything!

Farm Displays

Saturday was gorgeous! It was sunny and cool - almost cold, but not quite. Perfect autumn weather. I went to a farm nearby, and saw this display. Please excuse the quality as it is from a cell phone. Such a nice display for a wonderful day, don't you think?
