I missed the train the other night, so I decided to take a walk to the Fort Point area near the station.

I am glad I did!

I almost missed this place. It's the newbie to the restaurant industry in Boston. The Achilles Project includes two things:shop and restaurant.

Achilles is an upscale boutique selling mens and womens clothes.

Persephone is the restaurant, and has already become popular with young, hip people. They use some of the latest recycling technology in their kitchen.

Now, who are Achilles and Persephone?

miss : 乗り遅れる、見逃す
⇒I miss you：恋しい（あなたが居ないのを寂しく思う）などのmissと同じである。
文やイントネーションで推測する。
newbie : 新顔、新しい人・物　（スラング）= newcomer
upscale : 富裕層向けの
hip　: かっこいい、最新流行の、情報通の・流行を追う（人々）

Achilles : アキレス　<トロイ戦争の英雄>
Persephone : ペルセポネ　<ギリシャ神話に登場する女王>

I see Achilles is a new boutique and Persephone is a restaurant!
Why Achilles and Persephone were chosen?
Do these names have symbolic meaning?

I think names in Greek myths are unique!!

Hi there.

Yes, Achilles is in the front and Persephone in the back. Achilles has women's clothes too.

Not sure why they were chosen.

I love Greek mythology! Myths are interesting everywhere, but we read more about Greek/Roman myths in elementary school.
