Boston cream pie(creme pie) is actually not a pie. It is a made of layers: two layers of sponge cake and a layer of custard between, covered with chocolate glaze! Delish! It was created in 1855 at the Parker House Hotel in Boston, and it is the official dessert of Massachusetts.

They even made it into an ice cream. No, I haven't tried it yet, but I WILL!

layer : 層　
custard : カスタード
covered with ~ : ～でコーティングされている
glaze :　グレーズ　（照り色をつける、うわ塗り）
official : 公式の
dessert : デザート（アメリカでは特にパイ、ケーキ、アイスを指す）
　　　　→　(desert : 砂漠) とのスペルの違いに注目
They even made it into an ice cream : アイスクリームにさえもなっている。

Does "delish" means "delicious"?
I love custard cream! I really want to try Boston cream pie!!
And it was created about 150 years ago, that's amazing!!
The other day, I found a brand-new roll cake in Osaka. It's so good!! I've never had like it before. I wish I could go to a café with you and have some cakes!! But Boston is so far from Japan!

I have to find one to show, but I might eat it. Ha ha!

It would be fun to have cake together! What kind of roll cake in Osaka?? I love roll cake too!

The roll cake is called “Dojima roll”. Dojima means an area in Osaka.
The look is very simple. But whipped cream is so delish!! The cream is different from others. I can’t explain it well. But I love it!!
Many people like it too. And we need to line to get this a long time in front of the shop.
