They are talking about buying another car.

What are they saying?

Driver: It's not bad. 15 gallon tank.
Man in back: A V6 or an 8?
Driver: I think it's a V6.
Driver: 'Cause I never knew what mine was.
Man in back: Any well known problems with them or anything?
Woman in front: I mean, you know, the usual.
Driver: The normal wear and tear.
Man in back: Yeah, but nothing like it's known for a bad transmission... a poor radio
Woman: No.

Driver:　She had uhh ... Before we moved in...
Driver: About a grand worth.
Man in back: Did you buy this thing new?
Woman: Huh?

A v6 or an 8 ⇒　エンジンの気筒の配置の種類
'cause : Because の略
well known :　よく知られた
transmission : トランスミッション　（車の部品）
a grand : １０００ドル
worth : 値する、価値
下線部、she は助手席の女性。had の後にはその前に後席の男性から話題に出た、(problem)が隠れている。つまり、１０００ドルかかる問題が彼女の車にあった。
this thing ⇒ここでは、今乗っている車のことを指している

I can only understand what they are taiking, while I read the text. It's a little bit difficult for me.

It is a bit difficult

I know it is a very difficult one. It's always hard to listen to and understand someone's conversation.
Don't worry and don't give up. It takes time. Listen to it again when you have a chance and write down what you hear. Then check the text again. See how that works.
