Martha's Vineyard.

This island is off of Cape Cod, in the southern part of Massachusetts.
It is famous for it's historical whaling tradition. It is a popular tourist destination in the summer. You can see the nice towns such as
Edgartown and the cute houses there. You can also go to the beach.

It takes about 50-90 minutes by ferry.

New England

What and where is New England?

New England is the name of the 6 states in the northeastern part of the US: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Many of the town and county names are English. There's Suffolk and Norfolk Counties, Bennington and Brattleboro, Dartmouth and Plymouth and many more. There are plenty of Native American names as well: Connecticut, Cohasset, Winooski and Pawtucket.

New England is famous for the autumn colors and for education. There are many old places and many important historical sites.
