As part of its advertising, the cell phone company AT&T uses the signal bars on a phone in many great ways.
If you look at the right, in front of the newstand near Boston Common, what do you see?
A row of newspapers shaped as the bars of a cell phone.
AT&T is saying not to worry Boston. You can get cell phone coverage anywhere you go. More bars in more places.

What does "pump it up" mean?

"Rev it up. New Crystal Light Metabolism."

Pump it up means to increase the volume in something. It can be used in different situations.Pump up the music/Pump the music up means to increase the volume.
How is it used here? Well, the ad is for a flavored powder you can add to water, called Crystal Light. This new product is to help your metabolism, the rate your body uses food for energy. If you drink it, you can dance like her!
rev : （revolution :革命、回転）の略
rev と省略された場合はエンジンなどの「回転、回転速度」という
意味になる。

increase : 増す、上昇する
volume : 量
flavored ~ : 風味をつけた

On the right is the clothes detergent, Tide.
Her stopping power is her dress. You stop to look at her!
However, she has Tide, so she can stop clothes from becoming dirty. Staying power means that something has power to last for a long time. Coca Cola has staying power, too.
So her clothes will always look clean and new - to stop people again!
